1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of TrustQR, including our website, dashboard, QR code generation tools, product verification services, scan analytics, anti-counterfeit features, and related services.
By accessing or using TrustQR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use TrustQR.
2. About TrustQR
TrustQR is an anti-counterfeit SaaS platform that helps brands, manufacturers, distributors, and business customers verify product authenticity using unique QR codes, duplicate scan detection, expiry validation, location-based verification, IP-based scan analysis, and real-time scan analytics.
TrustQR helps connect physical products with digital verification.
3. Who May Use TrustQR
You may use TrustQR only if you:
Are legally able to enter into a binding agreement
Use the service for lawful purposes
Provide accurate account and business information
Comply with these Terms and applicable laws
If you use TrustQR on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that company.
4. Business Accounts
To use certain TrustQR features, you may need to create an account.
You are responsible for:
Providing accurate information
Keeping login credentials secure
Managing user access
All activity under your account
Notifying us of unauthorized access
Ensuring your users comply with these Terms
TrustQR may suspend or restrict access if we believe an account is misused, compromised, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.
5. TrustQR Services
Depending on your plan or configuration, TrustQR may provide:
QR code generation
Product code management
Product batch management
Product verification pages
Expiry validation
Duplicate scan detection
Suspicious scan alerts
Scan analytics
Location-based scan analysis
IP-based scan analysis
Dashboard access
API access
Brand protection tools
Product authentication workflows
Support and technical assistance
TrustQR may update, improve, modify, or remove features from time to time.
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a TrustQR customer, you are responsible for:
Ensuring product data is accurate
Uploading lawful and authorized content
Printing and applying QR codes correctly
Managing batch, expiry, and product information
Ensuring QR codes are used only for legitimate products
Training staff or partners who use the platform
Reviewing verification results and scan alerts
Complying with product labeling and consumer protection laws
Obtaining any required permissions or approvals
TrustQR provides technology tools but does not replace your legal, regulatory, quality control, or product safety responsibilities.
7. Product Verification Results
TrustQR may show verification results based on available data, QR code status, scan history, expiry settings, duplicate scan rules, location signals, IP address signals, device information, and customer configuration.
Verification results may include statuses such as:
Genuine
Valid
Invalid
Expired
Already scanned
Suspicious
Not found
Contact brand
TrustQR helps detect suspicious patterns, but no anti-counterfeit system can guarantee complete prevention of fraud, copying, tampering, misuse, or counterfeit activity.
8. Customer Access to Scan, IP Address, and Location Data
TrustQR may provide business customers, manufacturers, distributors, or brand owners with access to scan and verification data related to their products.
This may include:
QR code ID
Product or batch information
Scan date and time
Verification result
Duplicate scan indicators
Suspicious scan signals
Device information
Browser information
IP address
Approximate location based on IP address
Precise device location where the end user has granted location permission
Customers may use this information only for legitimate purposes such as product authentication, anti-counterfeit protection, fraud prevention, product security, customer protection, analytics, and investigation of suspicious scan activity.
Customers must not use scan data, IP address data, or location data for unlawful tracking, unrelated marketing, discrimination, resale of personal data, or any purpose not reasonably connected to product verification and brand protection.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, consumer protection, product labeling, and data protection laws when they access or use scan and verification data provided through TrustQR.
9. QR Codes and Product Codes
TrustQR may generate unique QR codes, product codes, or verification identifiers.
You agree not to:
Reuse codes in unauthorized ways
Copy codes across unrelated products
Misrepresent product authenticity
Use TrustQR codes for illegal or unsafe products
Interfere with verification results
Manipulate scan data
Use codes after termination unless allowed by your plan or agreement
You are responsible for ensuring that printed QR codes are correctly applied to the intended products, labels, packaging, or batches.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use TrustQR to:
Violate any law or regulation
Sell, promote, or verify illegal products
Upload false, misleading, harmful, or unauthorized content
Infringe intellectual property rights
Mislead customers about product authenticity
Interfere with the platform
Attempt unauthorized access
Reverse engineer the service
Scrape, overload, or attack the system
Upload malware or harmful code
Use TrustQR for spam, phishing, fraud, or deceptive activity
Circumvent security or usage limits
Use scan, IP address, or location data for unlawful surveillance, unrelated marketing, resale, discrimination, or purposes unrelated to product verification and brand protection
11. Customer Content and Data
You retain ownership of product data, brand content, images, descriptions, batch information, and other materials you upload to TrustQR.
You grant TrustQR a limited right to use, host, process, display, and transmit your content only as needed to provide the services.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use your content with TrustQR.
12. TrustQR Intellectual Property
TrustQR owns all rights, title, and interest in the TrustQR platform, software, website, dashboard, design, technology, workflows, analytics tools, source code, trademarks, logos, and service materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of TrustQR intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from TrustQR technology unless we give written permission.
13. Pricing and Payment
TrustQR pricing may be based on plans, QR code volume, scan usage, subscription fees, setup fees, custom development, or other agreed commercial terms.
You agree to pay all fees according to the pricing, invoice, order form, or agreement applicable to your account.
Unless stated otherwise:
Fees are non-refundable
Taxes are your responsibility
Late payments may result in suspension
Usage-based fees may depend on QR code generation, scans, or platform activity
TrustQR may update pricing with notice
14. Free Trials and Pilot Projects
TrustQR may offer free trials, demos, pilots, or limited access accounts.
TrustQR may modify or end free trials at any time. Trial accounts may have usage limits, reduced features, or limited support.
Data from trial accounts may be deleted after the trial unless upgraded or otherwise agreed.
15. API Access
If TrustQR provides API access, you must use it responsibly and according to our technical documentation.
You must not:
Exceed usage limits
Share API keys publicly
Use API access for unauthorized products
Interfere with platform stability
Use API access to build a competing service
Attempt to bypass billing, authentication, or security controls
TrustQR may suspend API access if it creates risk, abuse, or system instability.
16. Support
TrustQR may provide support by email, dashboard, phone, or other channels depending on your plan or agreement.
Support does not include legal advice, product compliance advice, regulatory approval, label approval, or product safety certification unless separately agreed in writing.
17. Third-Party Services
TrustQR may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics, payment processors, email providers, or communication tools.
TrustQR is not responsible for third-party service interruptions, policy changes, outages, or security issues outside our control.
18. Confidentiality
Both TrustQR and customers may receive confidential business, technical, product, pricing, or operational information.
Each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect confidential information and not disclose it except as necessary to perform obligations, provide services, comply with law, or with written permission.
19. Data Protection
TrustQR handles personal information according to the TrustQR Privacy Policy.
Business customers are responsible for ensuring that any personal data they upload, access, receive, or process through TrustQR is collected and used lawfully.
Business customers are also responsible for using scan data, IP address data, and location data only for legitimate product verification, anti-counterfeit, product security, fraud prevention, and customer protection purposes.
Where required, the parties may enter into a separate data processing agreement.
20. Service Availability
TrustQR aims to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access.
Service may be affected by:
Maintenance
Security updates
Hosting issues
Third-party provider outages
Network failures
Force majeure events
Abuse prevention
Technical problems
We may perform maintenance or updates when needed.
21. Disclaimers
TrustQR is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustQR disclaims warranties of:
Merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Uninterrupted operation
Complete accuracy of verification outcomes
Complete prevention of counterfeiting
TrustQR helps reduce counterfeit risk and detect suspicious activity, but it does not guarantee that all counterfeit products, copied QR codes, mislabeling, fraud, misuse, unusual location patterns, or suspicious scan activity will be prevented or detected.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustQR will not be liable for:
Indirect damages
Lost profits
Lost revenue
Loss of business
Loss of goodwill
Product recalls
Regulatory penalties
Counterfeit activity by third parties
Customer misuse of QR codes
Incorrect product data uploaded by customers
Unauthorized access caused by customer negligence
Third-party service failures
Misuse of scan, IP address, or location data by business customers, manufacturers, distributors, or brand owners
TrustQR’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid by the customer to TrustQR during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify TrustQR from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
Your use of TrustQR
Your products
Your product claims
Your uploaded content or data
Your misuse of QR codes
Your misuse of scan data, IP address data, or location data
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of law
Your infringement of third-party rights
Inaccurate or misleading product information
24. Suspension and Termination
TrustQR may suspend or terminate access if:
You violate these Terms
Payment is overdue
Your account creates security risk
Your use is unlawful or harmful
You misuse QR codes or verification pages
You misuse scan, IP address, or location data
You attempt unauthorized access
Required information is inaccurate or incomplete
You may stop using TrustQR at any time. Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred.
25. Effect of Termination
After termination:
Access to the dashboard may be disabled
QR code verification pages may stop working
Customer data may be deleted or archived according to our retention practices
Outstanding fees remain payable
Sections related to payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution will continue to apply
26. Changes to the Service
TrustQR may improve, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes that significantly affect paying customers.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we update them, we will revise the effective date.
Continued use of TrustQR after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
28. Governing Law
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
For customers with a separate signed agreement, the governing law and dispute resolution terms in that agreement will apply.
29. Dispute Resolution
Before starting legal proceedings, both parties agree to try to resolve disputes in good faith by contacting each other.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be handled according to the governing law and competent courts or agreed dispute resolution process.
